Life.Planted.

Every summer we enjoy disappearing into the mountains of New Hampshire for a week or so. With COVID last summer we never made it to NH and this year we only had four days. AND man did we try to fit everything we wanted to do into those four days.  And when I tell you I needed a get away- I mean I needed a get a way! Everything here at home was getting to me and I was really on the verge of losing it. I needed to get away from everyone and everything and just push pause, relax and reset ourselves. Life was getting heavy. We went to our happy place surround by family. We drank pina coladas poolside. We mini golfed (I did not win). We rode down waterfalls into the river bed. The water was so clear and refreshing- it was a blast! We took the only aerial tram in NH up 4,080 feet high overlooking the mountains of NH, Maine, New York, Vermont and all the way to Canada. The view was stunning.  Hope to see you again soon New Hampshire!

“I love you,  in ways  you’ve never been  loved, for reasons you’ve never been  told, for longer than you think you deserve and with more  than you will ever know existed  inside  me.” Does anyone else feel like they just feel everything too much? Does anyone else feel like they have the entire world of emotions sitting on their shoulders? No? Just me?  I’m pretty sure I’m not alone.  😉   Some days I feel it all flooding in like wind through an open window.  Some of those days are hard and others beautiful.  Today I’m grateful for a beautiful one. I’m grateful to have people to hold onto through the hard.  I’m grateful for more beautiful ones than hard, and I’m hoping my loved ones that I surround myself with feel this love as they would feel the sunshine on their skin. 

This has been the best summer AND the best part.... it's not over yet!!! We still have a few small vacations planned this month that we are looking very forward to.  My family comes up from Mississippi for two weeks each summer, so we have been really busy spending time with them. We went to the petting zoo, the big zoo, sunflower fields, the drive in movies and we had the best day yet on the water in the boats!! It was such a blast!!  My family left to go back home on Monday and then the kids started football practice that evening.  I've waited a very long time to become a football mom, and the day is finally here!  Here is over two weeks of pictures.......
