“I didn’t mark your height in pencil on the wall each day, but still you grew. There were days my camera sat untouched, but still you smiled, you laughed, we had moments worthy of capturing.” SCREAMING HAPPY HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY to this guy! As I dropped you off at school this morning with your brother and sister carrying cupcakes for you, I watched you head up into school and see your friends and give them hugs good morning. At that moment you were undeniably 5, my baby was gone and you’ve turned into a big kid! Being a mom can sometimes be hard, but loving you since the beginning has always been easy.

I feel like today changes my life. The end of a really good book, but the beginning of a brand new one! Today is hard, but in a amazing way! I put my baby, my 4 (soon to be 5 year old) out into the world on his own today.  The last five years have been some of the highest highs, you and me, discovering the world together, and now kindergarten is here! You got to ride the bus that you once got to watch your sister and brother board and wave them goodbye and watch it disappear, then you waited every afternoon with me excited to see their faces get back off.  I couldn’t be any prouder of you, but I’m also sad I have to let you go and share you with the rest of the world. I hope the world treats you well. I hope you make friends. I hope you find your way through the hallways. I hope you find your lunch I packed you filled with some of your favorite things. Happy second birthday to my baby boy!!! This has been an amazing two years, I could not imagine what our lives would be like without you, but I know it wouldn't be the beautiful place it is today. You are the sweetest little guy I could have asked for. You are so funny, polite, sweet, brave and loving. Your personality shows in everything you do. So proud of the little guy you are! I hope you have a good day filled with love and fun!

Happy First Birthday to my son! It feels like yesterday I was holding you in my arms for the very first time, and I couldn't take my eyes off of you, somedays I still can't.  This past year, you have filled mama's, daddy's and sissy's life's with so much laughter, love and joy. It's been amazing watching you turn from my little bundle of joy; watch you accomplish all your firsts.  First smile. First laugh. First foods. First steps.   And now, you've turned into a little crazy toddler that hits his head and climbs on almost everything.  And today, I'm celebrating something that feels extra special to me too.  We made it to a year without one drop of formula. Some days were tougher than others. Tired days. Trying days. But we did it.   I'm so proud that we accomplished that together! What a beautiful, exhausting, amazing year it has been!  I love you Camden! Happy 1st Birthday!
