Santa's village 2021

 Santa's village was a blast!

Have you ever been?

This was our first time going, we were not sure what we were in for.

The Strength In Our Scars

Mental Health. Depression.  Anxiety.  I know I missed "Mental Health Day", but this is something that needs to be talked about more than just one day in October. This is something that needs awareness and education everyday. More than "40 seconds of action". Come on! I wanted to share this even more when recently I found out a beautiful young girl I know is suicidal. She reached out. She got help and her courage inspires me. So here I am now, trying to get one post in before the year turns over to a new one again! We are 3 days away from Christmas, so we’ve been busy with the hustle and bustle. 2025 has been a good year.  Last August (2024) when I started this post-, I was probably dreaming of a baby to hold in my arms, as I have for many years before- well after many negative pregnant tests -February 2026 that dream will come true!! We are adding to the clan! So here I am in the third trimester. I really wanted to enjoy this pregnancy because it will definitely, most likely be my very last. It’s been a tough pregna...

Worth the Wait

“It’s March. I open the window and Spring floats in, kisses me on the nose. I have waited so long- and now the sun is washing the world in yellow, and now the seeds sprout green in the dirt, and now the trees are budding and ready to bloom- and it was all so worth it.”  ~Schuyler Peck, Worth the Wait
